RJ-Intro
RJ-portriat I didn’t ask about his stuffed companion. We had just met and it was a little strange.

Ryan Flaherty tattoos out of Insight. From what I’ve seen, his work shows great depth, is beautifully polished and his placement always seems perfect. The big draw for including RJ in the blog is the Transformer leg. I don’t know how long those explosions took, but I want one!

My shoots are usually a lot of fun, for tattoos or other, but it was really difficult not to laugh through this whole thing. If you’re in Andersonville, check out Rad Vintage for just about anything from the 80’s, 90’s, or a possible guest spot by RJ Awesome.

Work in Progress…

Lisa-Intro

Lisa-Portrait Lisa has this effortless elegant look about her that makes her a dream to photograph.
Mermaids The mermaids and aquarium scene were done by Tim Biedron from Pioneer Studio. You might recognize the name from my post about Adam. If you’re looking for anything aquatic or nature related, check out Tim’s work. I recognize his work every time I come across it; the line quality kills me. So good.
WristWhile the anchor and scene on Lisa’s lower back was also done by Tim, Esther Garcia of Butterfat Studios created the cuff. Esther is amazingly talented. Her work is always so wonderfully delicate and meticulously detailed.
ShoulderEsther is also responsible for this shoulder piece. It was designed to mimic the embroidery on a jacket that Lisa had.
FoxNhoundThe “Fox and Hound” leg is to my knowledge, still a work in progress being worked on by Jason Vaughn from Deluxe Tattoo. I definitely wanted a shot of it, but you’ll have to check back for the finished piece and more on the complete composition, which includes a portrait of Lisa’s dog.
